About
Where Marketing/Communications, Technology, and Philosophy Intersect
I help churches and nonprofit organizations navigate the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, communications, marketing, and ethical leadership.
With over a decade of experience bridging marketing strategy, digital media, and theological reflection, I bring a unique perspective to one of our generation's most pressing conversations: How do we steward emerging technologies in ways that honor human dignity and advance meaningful mission?

Current Work
As Associate for Media Production at the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, I lead strategic communications initiatives and serve as the organization's primary voice on AI ethics and implementation. I've authored a blog series exploring the theological and practical implications of artificial intelligence for church leaders, addressing questions like: When does efficiency compromise pastoral care? How do we preserve the imago Dei in an age of algorithms?
I also serve as Membership Vice President for the Baptist Communicators Association, where I recently led the Fall Forum session "Shoptalk: The AI Landscape for Baptist Creatives," helping communicators across denominational lines think critically about these powerful tools.
Background & Expertise
My professional journey spans nonprofit organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and for-profit companies—giving me insight into how different organizational cultures approach change, innovation, and communication. I've spent the past five years managing complex communications projects, building teams, and helping organizations tell their most important stories across digital platforms.
Beyond marketing and technology, my work is shaped by formal training in theology and philosophy. This dual competency allows me to bridge technical execution with deeper questions of meaning, ethics, and human flourishing.
What Drives Me
My faith isn't separate from my professional work—it's the lens through which I approach every challenge. I believe humans bear the image of God, which means our work with technology should amplify human flourishing, not diminish it. I'm motivated by the conviction that Christian leaders need not fear emerging technologies, but we must engage them thoughtfully, critically, and hopefully.
Whether you're a church leader wondering how to shepherd your congregation through technological change, an organization seeking communications strategy, or a fellow professional navigating these questions—I'd welcome the conversation.
